THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL
Después de casi un año trabajando sin parar, incluso en vacaciones de navidad, llegamos a la etapa final de la construcción del monoplaza: ¡el montaje! El grupo Drivetrain finalizó el ensamblaje de las reductoras planetarias hace unas semanas y después de realizar comprobaciones, funcionan a la perfección. Hemos conseguido mejorar la eficiencia de las reductoras respecto a la del año pasado, cosa que era uno de los principales objetivos del grupo.
A lo largo de esta semana todos los grupos montarán sus correspondientes conjuntos en el coche y en especial el grupo Drivetrain ya tiene todo listo para ello. Sin embargo, el trabajo del grupo no se acaba aquí. El siguiente paso serán los test que permitirán obtener una buena fiabilidad de cara a las competiciones y en ellos se deberá tener un correcto mantenimiento del aceite, además de realizar revisiones periódicas para comprobar que todo esté correcto.
Ya queda menos para ver al coche rodar y mientras tanto, os contaremos todos los nuevos avances del equipo.
After working without pause almost the whole year, even in the Christmas Holidays, we reach the final stage of the manufacturing of the car: the assembly! The Drivetrain group finished the set up of the planetary gearboxes some weeks ago and after performing little checks, they run perfectly, and the efficiency of the gearboxes has been improved with respect to last years’, which was one of the main goals of the group.
Throughout this week, all the groups will assemble their corresponding assemblies and specially, the Drivetrain group has everything ready to do so. However, the work of the group doesn’t end up here. The following step will be the test, which will enable us to obtain a good reliability in order to face the competitions in a better shape. In them, there will be needed a good maintenance of the oil, in addition to performing periodic inspections so that everything is correct.
There is no much time left to see the car running and meanwhile, we will keep you up to date with the progresses the team make.
